What many people do not know is that the Reiki client is the one in charge of the energetic flow between Reiki Master, the Universe, and him/herself.  The Reiki Master becomes the conduit source of the energetic flow between the healing energy all around us and the Reiki client.  Before the session begins, the space wherein the Reiki is to be conducted is purified and blessed.  In this way, the Reiki Master is cleansing themselves, as well as the space.  All sessions begin with a meditation, breath work and intention setting.  The client begins to relax on a clean, comfortable massage table with or without the use of healing crystals.

Often, the Reiki Master is given messages or sees images receiving information as to what the Reiki client needs or the location as to where there are energetic blocks in the body. How much healing and relaxation is done is always in the spiritual control of the Reiki client.

We receive what we need, not always what we want. When the mind, body, and soul are opened to receive what they need, amazing transformation and release can happen within the client.
